The Elizabeth Taylor Suite is a one bedroom suite overlooking the central courtyard. While the Hotel Paisano was originally built with 65 single rooms and did not offer suites, Elizabeth Taylor did occupy the corner room that comprises a portion of the suite that bears her name today.

“The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated … wonderful courtyard with plenty of seating around the fountain to sit and enjoy the weather. The national landmark hotel was used as a home away and headquarters for the cast and crew of the film GIANT in 1955.”

The king-sized bed has a pillow-top mattresses and is situated in a spacious bedroom with full tiled bath, plush towels, Archive-brand toiletries, hair dryer and French doors opening to a standing balcony overlooking the central courtyard. The sights and sounds of the fountain area below and twinkling stars above promise a relaxing stay fit for a star.

The living/dining area offers a queen sized sleeper-sofa for extra guests and an additional set of French doors opening to another standing balcony overlooking central courtyard and fountain area. The efficiency kitchen is bright and cheery.

“We stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor room and it was terrific. Bar and restaurant are the best. Kudos to management who allowed us to view rooms before selecting. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”
